The Brief

The brief was to come up with an internal layout with effective functionality for mainly thoroughbreds ranging from mostly yearlings to 3yr olds. Mares and foals could also be accommodated.
Functional design and custom sizes were key to achieving beyond the clients expectations.

All stables include a dropped floor to accommodate deep bedding which would require easy clean out functionality. Other aspects included walker, arena, vet room, tack room, wash bays, winter feeding pens with access to paddocks and galvanised 3 rail paddock fencing.

Open out barrier with additional small door access

Paddocks: Galvanised post and rail

1.8m above sand. 3 rail with clean safe connectivity. Additional loose run to specific paddocks and pens.
Central paddocks gates to close off run. Electrified centre rail and top rail cable. x 14ft

8 Horse Rail Glide Walker

Quiet and low maintenance unit with customised fence with composite and grilles on top at almost 2m height.

8 bays with 7m distance from pusher to pusher. Pushers are also electrified. Variable speed and direction options on controller. 16 amp supply. The inner section can double as a lunging ring or paddock if required. E.g. A 21m diameter unit gives you a 16m lunge pen.
